Well, you guessed it.....Daddy is traveling on trip number 2. After he gets home only 4 more to go. So lucky you, you will get lots of pictures of Sweet Pea for the upcoming days!!! Other than him being gone life is good. Sweet Pea is 13 pounds 13 ounces as of last friday and is 26 inches long. She will be 7 months old in 3 days whcih is crazy to me!!! She is below average for weight and average for height. The doctor said she was going to be skinny like her momma and would be walking the runway one day!! I love her pediatrician. He was my doctor when I was a baby and the nurse is still the same nurse as well!!!
We went and saw Grandma Mum last night (the pictures at the beginning are from last night), and I am meeting Jennie for lunch today at our favorite Japanese place. Sweet Pea is loving her new sitter. The first day she came home holding her own bottle. She is the happiest little girl!!! She has started this new thing where she will sleep til 8:30 if I let her!! It is amazing!!! Down at 8:00 pm and up at 8:30 am. I have to wake her up during the week to get ready for Mrs. CeCe's house. Her mommy and daddy really appreciate the sleeping in!!!!
John is doing much better than a month ago. It is amazing to me to see just how far he has come since we were in Denver. I heard one of my favorite songs the other day and it really made me think of John. It is a country song, of course, and the line that stuck in my head was, "I have learned to never underestimate, the impossible". Just keep on praying and hopefully we will be able to say that he is Cancer Free one day!! That will be an amazing day!!!
That is about all that is going on with us. We have big plans for the week and the weekend and I will be sure to post pictures as I take them!! Oh, I do have some big news!! Baby girl cannot figure out how to use a trainer cup, but she sure does know how to use a real cup. She spills a little but not much. And she knows how to use a spoon. I left the spoon in her reach one day and she picked it up, went straight for her mouth and put it in. Then she did it again and again. So the next day we got out the video camera and filmed her. She did get her eyeball once, but every other time she put it right in her mouth. Like I said, she continues to amaze us every single day!!! She is also really into trying to grab and logo's on our shirts. Anything that is new to her she wants in her hands. She couldn't figure out why the picture on my dads shirt would not come off the other day. And then I was wearing one of the infamous Coast Guard shirts and she was trying to take the white logo off. She is so silly!!!
